I use Shoe Goo almost always. Open the cap, poke the cable end in, pull it out,
wipe excess if any and done. Too much makes difficult to reuse a cable. The
downside is it can attract dirt. I typically wait overnight before a ride and
have had good success.

After searching the archives, I found Marc Irwin had used and liked interrupter
levers on the close to the stem part of the Bosco bars. Anyone else care to
chime in? I recently acquired a pair and a long stem is on the way so I will
experiment this weekend.
