The mechanism looks almost identical to the Suntour Barcon (of course) so
broken Barcons might be a source of parts. In addition the stem or
downtube mounted Suntour power ratchet shifters might also have the
spring. See velobase

I seemingly missed out on a few sets of bars that were for sale on the
list. Anyone have a set of Aluminum Albatross bars? I'm ready to switch up
from my Albastache setup on my 650b'ed Trek 640.
PM off-list
Thanks!

I experienced the 'third design flaw' Max cites here whilst using Touring
canti's and found it very frustrating. It limited my pad choice to very
thin non-cartridge pads and choice of rims wider than 17mm inner width. I
nearly ground off the extra lip that creates the pad/brake arm interference
Very classy build, Bill! I love the boldness of the pink and the contrast
with the cream.
Do you know what your max tire size will be with/without fenders? And I
assume its built for a 700c wheel?
Can't wait to see it with fenders!

Love that you opted for cantis on this frame. The mix of silver and black
components is spot on.
Did you get the tubing specs from Riv/Mark as well? Curious what was spec'd
for this.
