Hi everyone, Both my Twin Holla's, and my new Synergy rim have this problem where they make a noise at the rim seam when they spin past the brake pad while braking. ffft.ffft..fffttt. Is this the norm for Velocity rims? The Holla's are un-machined. The Synergy is machined.

You know, for the bridges and bottle holder rivets? A nice touch. Was wondering why they stopped using them on the bikes. Too bad. It is nice. They are kinda like braze-on lugs. They finish the lugging look of the bike, if ya ask me. Having all joints lugged and braze-ons finished in that way.

Mine got hit, but no damage to the frame or components other than just a scratch on the shifter lever and a broken bottle cage. Bent rim, but spokes and rim have been replaced now. I think my right leg and the rear rack to the brunt of the blow. It was a slow moving accident. Like a snow plow
