I have some older Shimano Tourney center-pulls that I'm going to try
on my Ram. I disassembled one of the brakes to clean it up a bit, and
now I simply cannot get it back together. The problem is trying to
get both springs up under the hooks on the brake bridge.

It might be too small, but it could depend on what sort of standover
you'd like. I'm a 90ish PBH, ride a 61 Atlantis with Little Big Bens,
and have very little standover. If you're looking for more breathing
room, you could probably make a 61cm work with a longer stem and a
little more seatpost.

I just rebuilt my wife's Atlantis with Bosco bars. Cromo, Tektro levers,
Sunrace thumbies, multicolor Newbaum's.
The "grips" are brown cotton tape over a layer of cork tape.
She likes it over the Albatross, cork grips, vintage Dia-Compe levers, and
shimano bar ends that used to be on the bike

I recently went through a similar overhaul with my 2005 Blue Ram. It
was stolen back in December, then recovered (by me) in June when I
noticed it locked to a bike rack in downtown Harrisburg, PA. I
completely disassembled the bike (except for the BB), cleaned every
single part, replaced cabl

- I was able to spend some time on a (marginally faster) orange Rambouillet
- I know the orange Ram went to a good home

I'm 5'10"-ish, 90-ish PBH, and I ride a 61 Atlantis. This gives me a
fistful of seatpost, and I run Albastache bars on a shorter stem
(50cm?).
I'm pretty comfortable on this, but could probably do a 58 just as
well. I think there is only 0.5cm difference in top-tube len

noticed an orange Ram near Dayton, OH. It definitely wasn't mine, but

I've long had the VO Randonneur front rack on my 60cm Ram (attached
with p-clamps), as well as the VO Constructeur on the rear. I've
always run Giles Berthoud SS fenders under them, attached at the
racks' fender mounts.
