That thing looks awesome. For the fenders: I like the daruma bolt from the bottom of the head tube setup best. I had never heard of the Varia light and am interested to read more, but if you have a dynamo Hub, I would say take advantage and have a rear light running off of that, too. Have fun

I moved everything over from my Sam to my Appaloosa, so I have not yet taken advantage of the wide tires and fenders that the frame allows for. I had some 700x35 paselas, blew out a sidewall and was going to upgrade, but then at my LBS a guy had some Barlow Passes, so I am giving those a try. A

Dave, That is one cute kid!! I think there is something nice about having the kid up front so you can chit chat with him, but if he's too close, it will be annoying. Raising the stem would raise you up and move you back a bit, and boscos would do that more, but at a cost and for a hassle. Goo
