You all have not cleared it up AT ALL, but I got a bunch of ideas to ponder. Jeremy - I love the bar you mentioned and will look into it. I had originally tried a dirt drop when I first got the bike, but the quill was too long for the short head tube. I looked into the Kalloy/Sunlite versions, but heard they are not good for twisting and turning drop bars into them. Also, I had never heard of travel agents and educated myself on those. Would let me use the drop levers I have now. Hmmmmmm Joe and Ryan... you have me all over our local CL, which of course is one of my favorite activities. What's one more kids bike when you have three kids and I think my wife could ride the Clem more than she does. Joe - brifters? Have you gone off of your Rivendell rocker??? I'm kidding of course... maybe he would dig those, but he has survived on the 1x8 stem mounted friction shifter so far, I think we could stick with that theme. Sky - I love the lil' LHT. At our LBS the other day he rode the little flat bar cross check 1x, which I loved.. mostly because it is quite similar to his Clem 1x8! He did ride a 46 All City single speed cross bike which was cool, though out of our price range. What was off with the 520 fit?
