Laing,
It looks like you're getting hooked. It's a wonderful place to ride on
many levels, the more time you spend out there the more you appreciate it.

You're giving this a lot of thought, maybe a tad too much, but that's for
you to consider. Congratulations on your tour. You've found how easy &
interesting it can be to meet people while on a bicycle. People are always
interested in your trip & willing to give advice on local conditions.

That Platypus listing includes only close up photographs. It's like the
seller lives in a phone booth. Stand back and take a picture of the whole
bike!

I've been running the SKS P50s on my Platy and they work great. I even
manage to squeeze a 50mm Gravel king in there. I just covers the tire but
works great. the SKS are nice because they're inexpensive a light. Just
ordered another pair for my Atlantis.

That's a sweet bike! Love the Poly. I can't imagine having found my way to
this kind of "enlightened" bike so early in life - I use that term somewhat
tongue in cheek because there are many correct answers to the right bike
but this is pretty much where I ended up after 30 years of riding bikes,
I’m using the sks p50 with gravel king ss+ tires (43 wide). The fenders are
just a bit wider than my tires. There’s space between fender and seat stay.
Would you like me to measure?
