Well Patrick, my ride yesterday was nothing like yours, but I did enjoy it
immensely. It featured one of my favorite short loops through Vermont's
back roads -paved, dirt and gravel - with woods and rolling farms. Utterly
beautiful. It is only 17+ miles but does include 1100+ feet of climbing.
KJ, states keep up with state infrastructure, and municipalities keep up
with theirs.

I have both the small and large tan rondeneur style bags and like them
both. I appreciate the light interior and the quality of the materials.
The small bag came with very nice brass turnbuckles on the small pockets,
which I really like but the large one came with snaps that I struggle with.
My analogy was not meant to compare severity of consequences, property
damage, etc. It's about shaping public discourse and leading by example.
I don't think anyone here would disagree with you on the role the

Leah, can you email your address please? To joeremi62 at gmail dot com. It's

Just so we're clear, what I have is a pretty nice collection which I read for
many years. I'm sending them to Leah with the thought that she didn't have that
experience in real time going back to 1994 like I did. Honestly, it could take
years to fully pour through all of it to get to the point o
This is pretty cool.
The Readers were fairly formative to my cycling life.
Good on Joe for letting them go, and I'm excited for Leah to dive in!

This. Many people do not consider us valid road users. Whether that's
passive aggression like not giving us space, or active harassment, it stems
from the idea that we're not "real," and don't have a right to be there.

My house is full of Acorn bags of all sorts. I think the new colors are

opens from the front and lifts to the back. The drawback is that the wind
will blow it open rather than blow it closed. If you don't access the bag

I will have to try that next time I replace the cables. My pads aren't too

between them and the rim. But maybe if I can get them set wider to where I

Yes Patrick, but policy cannot be based on each person's vision of human

Looks good but I wonder if it is easy to just drill out the rivets.
