I'll be there.
Looking forward to it,

Hey Grant, don't quit your day job. The Carnival would leave you stranded on
the side of the highway in the middle of Kansas I'm sure. As a hint for next
time, don't use those really expensive rare earth magnets. Cheapies from an
old science kit are the way to go, even if you have to glue 'em to

Dear Rivendell Owners' Bunch,
I'm writing to ask for your help. We've *almost* decided to get a 52
cm Betty Foy for my wife.
She's 5'4" and rides with a a saddle height just a smidge below 25".
She's currently commuting on a full-suspension Canndondale w/ road

With the number of DC folks in the area, it'd be great if we could
maintain a sublist for DC based RBW owners, i think it'd be helpful
for these types of requests, and also for posting local events.
As for the original request, i only know about the mysterious Betty

And to clarify, you think Hugh wants the Betty Foy more than his wife [wants

Betty Foy more than [he wants] his wife!

I don't think there needs to be a sublist. T
I no longer palp a large saddlebag, so this support is no longer needed. It
is the best support I've used. One thing to note is that the rubber insert
it comes with has disintegrated so if you don't want scratches on your
seatpost, I'd suggest adding your own rubber insert, or come up with another

You're probably right, maybe the DC crowd are not as social as the

Just to clarify, you make several turns with the bungee before looping it

All bike companies have promotions and sales. Odds are that most folks who
drop by, lured by the magnet contest, won't hit one, and won't get a

I agree with Joe B, this is just all part of sales and marketing, and
it's the kind that rewards the customers. I mean, look at the all the
purchases that Rene has done this year alone! It's like a karma

Minh, why don't you start a new post, inviting DC-area Riv'rs to post email
addresses, and those of us who were interested could make our own lists?

Robert,
Your feedback had a lot of influence on my decision. Coincidentally, EcoVelo

That's right; I wrap the bungee behind the ball two or three times (I forget
