I agree that hotspots are cause by more than "just" the small platform. However that being said the "but" follows. When I started using look/shimano spd-r etc all wider platforms with the same shoes the hot spots took much longer to hit. With regular spd's 50 miles was the max.. with spd-r's I d

Jeff: Thanks, the paintjob is excellent. I am no paint expert, but my general understanding is that wet paint (like Imron) gives a beautiful finish, and is great for 2-tone paintjobs but can nick and chip... I haven't experienced it yet, but then again I haven't really put these frames to a harsh

Like I said, your mileage may vary (YMMV)...what I am trying to point out is that perhaps our bodies are telling us when we are overdoing it when we have excessive pain or exercise related injury. I referred to Grants "dual athlete" concept because I agree with it as it relates to some of his
