I love the clearcoat. Need to post a couple new photos, as I have
rotated (forward) and lowered the bars a bit, switched backnto my
Brooks finesse saddle, and swapped pedals. I also had a good fitting
done locally, and I we changed the saddle height a bit. Fits great.

I guess I'm mostly worried about the fact that Chrismas lights run on

That's a cool paint job.
I tried Hetres on a Bleriot but I think they accentuate the wheel flop
too much.

If you have (or had) an Atlantis, do (did) you prefer it set up with
Moustache bars or with drops such as the Noodles? My likely use would
be mostly commuting, some gravel/dirt, non-paved rail trails, but no
derring-do rough stuff. Maybe short, weekend tours where the daily

OK that statement tells me you're going to need a little bit more help

You can't use lights that are designed for 120V line power. And I have
no idea what power those draw, but it's probably more than 3

I've had my Atlantis set-up with both 'stache bars and Noodles. I

I first tried the M-bars on my Bombadil and loved them for the rough trails.
However, I couldn't get hand and neck pain free when riding on the streets
on even short commutes. Since I had the 48 Noodles on my AHH I swapped the
M-bars and put a set of 48 N

Hi Forrest -
I've tried moustache bars on a bunch of my bikes. They usually last a
couple rides and I'll go back to drops. I really want to like the m-
bars - they look classic cool and old timey. Nice.
My experience however tells me 1.) I don't like leaning that far

Amen.
The only reluctance I had on the Quickbeam was that it wouldn't fit
wider tires, but then I found I could ride 28s on dirt roads, and 32s
on singletrack, and 35s on gravel, and 40s just 'cause... and now I
have to trim the knobs off 700c fatties, and still they bzzap! on my

I really like M-bars for all-round riding up to a couple hours. Longer
rides, and I miss the drop position. Be sure to get a shorter stem with
them though. Level with seat height was fine for me, but the shorter stem
was critical.
Have fun!
