I think they would not work. At least not easily and optimally. My 45mm Smokes were smaller than 45mm, and I don't think they'd fit under ANY fender. Right now, I'm running (rocking/rubbing)... ...I have mounted on my Quickbeam 42mm IRC Mythos "slicks" with the knobs cut off, under 52mm Zeppelins.

Actually the Soma doesn't require the Silver sidepull brakes which are extra-long. What you want for the Soma are brakes with a reach of 57mm. These used to referred to as "standard reach" brakes. Tektro and Shimano both make brakes with a 57mm reach. That Soma frame is nice and if a Roadeo or IF
