Speaking of, yesterday I did a beautiful ride on my Romulus from San Francisco to Cupertino via PCH, Skyline, Sawyer Camp Trail, Cañada, etc. Thanks to Ray for the Sawyer Camp Trail recommendation, it was just awesome! Apparently it's often very busy but it was fairly empty on Christmas Eve. :) Ri

Prior to selling my lovely Ahearne I managed to score a near perfect Quickbeam frame and fork. The previous owner had the paint bead blasted off (the original QB orange), then made the effort to carefully sand away most of the surface colour irregularities in the steel. The result is really sharp.

Thanks it was a fun evening working on it. The seat is serfas that my brother gave me. I'm thinking about a black b-17. The wheels are bontrager race lites ( take offs from my wife's bike when she got a new wheel set). I wasn't sure about the wheels at first but I think they look pretty good
