There are bikes everywhere in NYC. NYC is both friendly and quite
unfriendly for bikes depending on where you are at the moment. You
will see riders at night with and without any kind of light or
reflector. They will ride with or without helmets, Anything goes.
New Yorkers are both crazy and t

I thought I'd jump in on the end-of-year swap meet and offer a pair of
Schwalbe Big Apple tires and tubes. These are the 50x622 size. They've
been ridden about 50 miles worth. They came of off my wife's Atlantis.

I dig those modern wheels on your Rambouillet, and yep, wheels
certainly affect the ride and ride quality; I found the same when I
upgraded my Ram wheels recently. I've come to enjoy the mixing and
usage (and results!) of classic and new parts.

Not a Nitto, but still quite nice. It's marked "Medallion 1000

It's got some scratches, but overall it's a nice, shiny finish. Good
quality hardware, too. Clamps 26.0 bars and fits regular 1" steers.

Nice looking bike! I like the wheels, the silver sidewalls make them
look good.
My Rambouillet also sports a pair of wheels built with Phil Wood hubs

I used to ride with Larry B. back in my Davis Bike Club days (say,
1984 - 92). Good to see he's still on the road! Does he still ride

Wheels and bike very handsome indeed. Velocity is a great rim.

What performance trait are you hoping to experience with the MaxiCars? I'd use
them just because I could! The hoops are where the performance feel comes from.

Same conditions here in Southern California: foggy, cold (again, relative!)
& damp. The coast looked just like your video. But, hey, being on the bike
beats thinking about it! Plus I get to layer on all that cold weather gear
