the sellers; the higher the prices that items are sold for, the more profit
eBay makes. They really have no reason to care if buyers overpay. Shop

As the person starting this, I'm 100% okay with it being deleted by a

While it was vaguely on-topic (Rivendell/Nitto parts), it wasn't the most
uplifting of posts...

I would think his prices and business practices speak for themselves, not

Everybody take a breath.
Thanks.
I'm kind of conflicted on this thread. I've been working on a project
which finished up this morning, so I'm probably just worn out and grumpy
enough to ask just why this is a RBW related topic.
On the other hand, the actual auctioneer has contacted m

It's not about the price, it's about the lie.

I’ll open myself to mocking by admitting that I have, in fact, sold a plastic

with the Colnago name and logo. The combination of those factors l
I brought my RB-1 from Pro's Closet for $400, a great purchase.

It's a heck of a business model, and probably something they love doing.

the formula is simple - he buys parts in auction on ebay and re-sells them

It really is truly amazing what he gets for his stuff when you look at his

Go through his ebay storefront, s/he has a LOT of vintage parts for sale,
and what seem to be highly inflated prices. But when you look at the
feedback, 9,999 happy customers that seem content to pay those prices. So I
guess s/he has figured out a pretty lucrative business model.
