Still looking for a stem/bar combo! Preferably silver colorway, 80-90mm
stem (Nitto Tech/Tallux) - I'm more interested in the CroMo ones now
because those seem to be more abundant.

Depending on what you want to spend, I had a Doom Bars build me a custom
set of Titanium bars that are basically mega-Albatross with a 707mm width.
They also make steel and will build them to any shape you desire. I love

Interesting idea, especially considering the abandoned cog is an 11 or 12.
That's an idea worth looking into. OTOH, if the cassette is not the
aforementioned oddball design (would Shimano do such a thing?) there's
plenty of nicely spaced wide range 7 speeds with usable tooth counts.

Not to be confused with that other mnemonic - "T.E.N." - for
remembering how many loose balls needed (per side!) when repacking old
cup/cone bearings:
- 10 for the front hub
- 11 for the BB
- 9 for the rear hub
That's it for now!

You might have a problem with the cassette. Recalling from the dustbin of

The Champion Flyer is a (narrow) B17 on springs. It's more for a heavy guy
than a lady. I'm 210# and the Flyer is great for me. The B68 is probably
the best choice for her.

I think either would suffice. She is looking for a wider saddle for upright
riding, sprung or unsprung doesn't really make a difference. Although,
aesthetically, i definitely prefer the look of a sprung saddle.

Is she looking for a B68 or B67? The B68 is unsprung. The B67 is like the
Flyer only wider.

I love my wider 67 or 68 (whichever is unsprung), and had tried the B17,
which was definitely too narrow.

Thanks. I actually bought some from another list member. Interestingly
these are going on my Big dummy. When I first swapped out the Surly Torsion
bars, I had some Albatross bars on my my BD and I really liked them. I have
since been running with with some Jones Loop H Bars, which I really love.
I might have an extra set. I put an albatross on my big dummy but have
been thinking about trying something different. I think they are a 55
chromo but would have to measure.
