Hi Patrick, On my Medium, I chopped off 5 inches from the super long steerer tube, which leaves about 63mm above the headset. The height of the threadless Bullmoose stem is about 42mm, which leaves me with plenty of room to play with with spacers above and below the stem to fine tune the height. I

I agree. And then, there's the issue of the cable having to match the fitting on the actuation device. At the brake, of course, it's held by a pinch bolt, but at the lever it's a made-on end that fits a receptacle in the lever. But the important thing is, this has been done since time immemo
