No problem as long as both wheels have gear set ups within the range of the
deraillers.

Hopefully both cassettes have similar amounts of wear as well. Otherwise
one might skip.

A couple more things to consider I haven't seen mentioned:
Axle width and wheel size. Without knowing the model and size of the Rivs
only assumptions can be made.

On my utility bike, I had a matching set of 27" wheels I swapped out for
road tires and knobbies - they were identical Rigida rims, Campy/Zeus-clone
hubs, and same IRD freewheel. On my go fast, I was swapping tubie and
clincher wheelsets, but these varied quite a bit in alignment and required
