You can pick any color you want, except for cream. The "Roadeo" page
has said this since day 1, but there seems to be considerable
confusion out there:

3. Any color that goes well with cream, with cream
Saw the badge yesterday on the riv site and love it. Hoping they will
post some pics soon of a white with blue accents and maybe a solid
with the cream accents as they state in the "read about it" section.
Not sure I am sold on the white either but it certainly distinguishes

Nice. Russ Pickett in Chico (a.k.a. Joe Bell North) is an equal to Joe

And speaking of colors... I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who
isn't crazy about owning a white bike. What color combinations for
the frame itself will look good with that red decal?
(Now.. where on earth did I stash that last set of long-reach
brakes?..)

Agree, Joe Bell is amazing. A friend just got a Kirk bike with a JB paint
job and it's wonderful. The Roadeo paint job actually looks better then the
one on my custom colored (more money) Hilsen.

To me it looks like the sun rising over the mountains, which are blue
because they are in the distance.

I realize the Roadeo on the Riv site is just a prototype, but FWIW Joe
Bell would never let a messy masking job like that leave his shop.
Here's a sample of his lug masking--the dividing line between the
colors runs exactly down the middle of the lip of the lug. Simply
amazing.

Looks good, but why are the hills blue and the sky silver? Silver
clouds I understand. If it is a too many color isue maybe the extra
shade of green should be on the hills? Just seems kind of off, not
sure why. When I saw it not filled in I thought immediately of my

I went up to RWHQ this past Satarday, and saw the Roadeo in the flesh.
I can't tell you how impressed I was. Didn't ride it, but the look and
feel was exactly what I think this bike should be, and exaxctly what I
think a lot of cyclists are looking for. I may have to lose 30 pounds

I also like the job that Riv does with headbadges and decals but I
have to admit
Betty Foy kind of scares me.

Looks great. Love the colors and the highlights. On the road lines,
perhaps fewer and more widely spaced of the diminishing lines, but
great as is.

I was in that camp too... Until I started pronouncing it with the long
ooohhs that we Minnesotans are known for. I started imagining the
joys of riding and how sometimes I find such pleasure in rolling down
the road by myself that I begin making sounds or singing out loud.

The art does help me to like a name that I initially did not like.
I have to commend Rivendell for their decal and headbadge artwork - I

Great artwork and badge!
I too was unsure about the name, but it's looking really sharp.
Nice work.

Agreed Mike! Saw those just a minute ago. Love the decals (and the
name, too), and look forward to seeing that badge in color. This is
gonna be one very sharp bike...
