I agree that it has the potential to be beautiful, but I am on the list for a rodeo and will likely be costomizing my head badge if this is what they are. The broken circle of the sun is rising over the edge of the blue sky? What are now the green hills are in the foreground, and the now blue area appeared to be hills/mountains in the distance (hence the road continuing up into them) with a rising sun before colored as these prototypes. Likewise the textured clouds could be really cool if surrounded by blue as opposed to a complete sky of silver. So close and a lot of time and money for something that is so close but just a little off, at least to my eye.
Again, just my opinion, but these could be really beautiful, if left in an antiqued brass, imagination required for colors and then these debates could become the fodder of fireside debate.
