Well, somebody got a nice Cheviut for a great price. Too bad it wasn't my size 'cause I love those green ones. Now I just have to talk myself out of the custom blue mixte at RBW. It's sweet! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.

My take is when there's a serious deal to be had, the first person there with cash takes it. Frustrating to not have a clearly communicating seller for sure. Still can't believe the deal I got on my 55 cheviut. $700 complete...and 100% not stolen -- You received this message because you are s

Yeah selling on CL is no fun at all. Between the scammers, the low ballers, the information seekers with no intention to buy, and flakes it really does get a bit frustrating! So sadly I go all Bird in hand when selling. Doesn't feel so nice but darn... My experience selling a Rivemdell has alway

My experience selling is alllmost bad enough to forgive the seller. I've sold 2 Things on cl and had at least 10 people make appointments and not show. I can understand unloading it while you know you can. but yeah, it is a huge let down when you know you'd take it. -- You received this me

I agree with you there. I was waiting outside someone's house ahead of the arranged time to buy something, only to have him text me to forget it, his wife just sold it. Only cost me half a day to get there - I was predictably frustrated. I wouldn't leave until he explained himself to me! -- Yo

I guess I've been lucky, I've sold a ton of bikes and parts and never had someone not show up. Of course I've had people call to delay or change their mind, but never just disappear. IMO the buyer with the appointment should at least have a warning that someone else wants it so "get on over here

Reminds me of the fellow who was test riding a motorcycle and during the test ride, the owner sold the motorbike to someone else. Excellent deals are hard to find. In the seller's defense, I've had people guarantee they would show up to buy stuff and they haven't shown up, or have shown up wit

I hate it when people do that. If I've made the appointment with a buyer, I'm going to make an effort to lock that person in before selling to the next one in line. "Oh sorry, someone else showed up" is bollocks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW
