One thing I find odd about Rambouillets is the odd ump in size. I am
most comfortable on a 53 but should be fine on a 54. But the next
size lower is not only 2cm smaller but also has 26" wheels which will
cause a pretty big drop in standover height. So a 52 would definitely
100% be way to small.
Congrats! That's a very nice bike. Have had the opportunity to look
at it many times (am a regular at Hiawatha Cyclery). If my wife would
tolerate narrower tires and drop bars, might have purchased it for
her. Glad it is going to a good home.

Great looking Ram!! I am doing Kojaks for tires so all black there
and my saddle is black as well but I think I am going to do Celery
tape with amber for the color. It's like a dark kiwi green.

The dimensions of the two bikes are nearly identical, and I believe

There might be a small bit of extra clearance for fenders on the

I know. With its 700x33+fenders clearance and versatility to put the bars high

My Bleriot has drops, my MB-2 has Bullmoose. Drops are my favorite
bars so at least for now I don't think I would choose anything else.

I have been cycling for almost 40 years and have ridden a lot of bikes
and a lot of miles. I have never owned one that was more of a joy, on
the long club rides that you describe, than my Rambouillet. If you
can find a good used one, go for it; if not, I wouldn't hesitate to
buy a Rodeo. The Eb
Roadeo. Grant doesn't design an uncomfortable bike. All the other
bikes overlap with each other much more.
To be honest, I was never afraid to take my Romulus on any terrain.
Riv makes some robust bikes. The Bleriot really can do anything. I'd
do a heavy tour on it.
So, Roadeo is your ticket.
Are you going to use drop bars on this next Riv? Do you have a drop
bar bike now?

I'd say Roadeo. You have the other end and middle of the spectrum

think the Roadeo has a 1cm longer chainstay, that's it.
