LOL! I'm very much in the same boat. A nice shiny new bike is great...but
I'm always super reserved. And when it does get marred, it bugs me. This
one is odd, it's very much a feeling of use and not neglect. Hard to
explain, but easy to understand in the metal so to speak.

there are 22 attachment points! I really liked having the two main triangle
bottles and the under down tube one. Never thought I'd have need for three

This IS a 54.5cm frame. Accounting for the slope, the effective TT is 56.

54.5cm frame? But I happened to notice some other conflicting info on there
too, so lets clarify:
