of Oregon, but it seems like the eastern 2/3 looks like your pix. Wheat &
sheep country. That shirt must be a Pendleton to last 3 generations.

crossing the bridge from the Maryhill area to Biggs, OR.
Looks like you found some nice places to ride, but when you go back, do
consider riding Dalles Mountain Road, and Old Moody Road. They're fantastic

route.
BTW the Gorge Ride is sponsored by the Friends of the Historic Col
Funny that you mention Maupin... There was a motorcycle club hanging out at
the store in Dufur when we pulled up. They were interested in us, our
adventure, and our bikes. We chatted for a bit before they pulled out and
we went in to get food. At one point one of them said "Hey, bikes is

Andy, so bummed I couldn't get out that way with you. Hopefully I can make
it out next time. There are so many great roads out there. A ramble from
Dufur to Maupin would be excellent.
I was talking to a friend and he said it was pretty overwhelming the number
of people that showed up for the D
Beautiful wandering. One shirt for three generations? Impressive!
