*Shop Class as Soul Craft* is a great book. I believe that it was
discussed on RBW or iBOB when it first came out. I had never heard of the
newer one and appreciate the reference.

Another great intro to this topic is the 2016 documentary, “Hypernormalisation”
by British filmmaker Adam Curtis. Easy to find on streaming services and worth
