I don't think you have anything to worry about with the Synergies. I rode
the machine-build QBP ones over all kind of terrain as my main off-road
bike for several years with no problems:

Bunny hop everything... post video.
I do small jumps on my 36-hole Synergy'd Homer all the time (curbs, my
kid's bike jump, dirt humps, etc).
In the end it's just a wheel.

What exactly do you mean by Bunny Hoppin'? Are you thinkin' of tryin' to
actually hop over something, clearin' it with both wheels? What is it that
you are tryin' to hop over? I've cleared railroad tracks (yes, both
tracks) on 280-gram sew-up rims (Fiamme yellow-label) and 25c sew-ups, when
That video is strangely mesmerizing, Jim.

I have an offcenter rim in the back. From what I have read, the o-centers

Ha! No easy, blanket answer for that. If you land wrong and hard, you'll
mess up just about any wheel.

Start slow and low. Get competent rolling up on one wheel and then the
other. Because that develops a good sense of how to land.

I don't use Synergy rims unless there's no other option, because they are
prone to cracking around the eyelets. Supposedly this problem has been
addressed in recent production runs, but we'll see.

I can't tell you that, but I can tell you that everyone's next question is
going to be "hmm, which tires will be joining the wheels on these bunny
hops?"
