Just wanted to add that I finally did order a Bull Bar and compared it to
my Bullmoose 150mm..
Indeed, the Bull Barr requires less extension to match the reach of the
Bullmoose. A Bull Bar with 110mm stem is approximately the same extension
as the 150mm Bullmoose. The angle and rise is a bit
Maybe this vs. cutting it?

Plus this for the slammed look but also flexibility if you need it:

I will give Rivendell a call about Waive.
I was pondering the Bull Bar last night and it seems that to match the
150mm Bull Moose, one would need.a 150mm stem. So, that's awfully hard
to match.
With the Bull Bar and 135mm stem, which is made by Nitto, and lowering the
bars a bit the rea
I've not had an actual Bullmoose to compare directly to.
I would call RivHQ to confirm, but it is my understanding that it's the
same, sans moose of course.
Wavie is another valid option, I'm eying them up for another project I'm
working on if I can't find a 610 Ahearne Map bar.

Jared,
So, it really is the exact same curve as the Bullmoose, right? So, to get
the exact same reach I'd need a 150mm stem, of which I think 135mm is the
max Nitto offers in the faceplater.
The Waive could also work I think. Might even be a little better for
non-trail riding.

Had a bull bar on my XL Susie, it's a very nice unit and I would recommend
it to anyone.
Paired with a Faceplater stem you'll be in good shape.
Let us know how things transpire.

Ah, ok. I did not see the bull bar. Does Nitto consider this to be an
"off road" bar?
So it requires the nitto faceplater stem, which is ok.
Geez, I can't believe I didn't see this before. Thanks!

I have found https://whatbars.com/ to be very helpful. I replaced my last
bullmoose with Ritchey Kyote bars, and I've also used Surly Open bars but
if that Bull bar had been available, I would have tried it.

I should have said similar sweep angle and overall extension, which is
roughly negative by a few centimeters!
