Taiwan was a solution for the rising cost of Japanese frames. Currency values wrecked havoc on RBW's cash flow and were mentioned several times in GP's op ed bits. Toyo and Waterford were presented as equals, quality wise. Toyo forks or toyo supervised forks were used on Taiwan frames, iirc. O
