lighter than his Roadeo. You can have the builder dent the chainstays for a
little more clearance with 35 tires. 38 might fit the Legolas and

The Legolas was sprightlier than a Rivendell road standard of the same size. I
think the builder told me it had a lighter top tube than any other Rivendell.
It rode like a modern sporting bike, similar to a thinwall OS Waterford, but
with bigger tire clearance and fender eyelets.
