One thing I've pondered about the half mitts is how they work if you ride with
your hands on the brake lever hoods.
Can you comment on that?

I got a pair of Half-Mitts for Christmas and they are swell. Rode for
an hour this morning at about 26 degrees with them over a pair of army
surplus double-layer wool mittens with leather palms. Hands were just
fine. I would say better at that temperature than leather choppers
with thick wool mi
