I also use dielectric grease on my dynamo connections, and had good success with my computer. I also use it in my cheaper AAA battery powered blinkie lights to reduce the corrosion at the battery terminals. You can pick up a tube for ~$5, and there shouldn't be any negative effects. It is c

Corroded where?  At the connection to the hub?  Perhaps grease might help?  I used to have a chronic problem with corroded connections for my wired-on bicycle computer, but dielectric grease fixed that once for all. On 12/4/18 8:39 AM, Pam Bikes wrote: I have a dyno hub and a USB Werks that I u

I have a dyno hub and a USB Werks that I use to capture my power generated during the day. I like to leave the wires on but they have gotten corroded. Any way to weatherproof them? Internal USB connection is rusted thus charging is not reliable. Ideally I'd like an inline switch. Long stor

With it mounted as it is and the bike on the trainer stand, holding the black band on the light and moving just the light moves the handlebars of the bike. By 'lever arm', are you referring to the metal bracket connecting the light to the rack support or the combination of pivots external to the l

I no longer have a Sam but I do have dyno lights mounted in various ways. One thing I think I know, which goes against many examples seen here, is that it's better to keep wires on the interior of the bike as opposed to wrapping. People wrap to avoid cutting to length and I get that, not wanting

Right side or left side is personal preference. I prefer to mount the light high and in the center; my Riv has a light on the front tab of its M18 rack (in front of a rando bag), and my Foundry has a light mounted on the handlebars with the Schmidt mount

Peter, I suspect you are correct. I just left the mount in the same position as when I received my AHH from RBW. I don't recall who assembled it or know why they did it that way. In the RBW picture of the light as mounted, it is on the right side of the rack while mine came with the light mount

Tim, If I am seeing this correctly, you could have a simpler setup if you rotate the mount 180 degrees and attach the light to the threaded eyelet hanging from the rack. The IQ-X can be either right-side-up or up-side-down. Just rotate the mount. PJW On Thu, May 18, 2017 at 12:37 PM, Tim Butterf

If you have a dyno hub on the front wheel and a small Nitto front rack on your Sam can you please post a pic with the wiring showing? If you love your setup let me know which hub and light you used. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owner
