I love the fact that this is fixed. Looks perfect and I bet it rides as
nice as you describe.
Is this the first fixed Atlantis?

Hello,
I bought this 56cm Rivendell Wilbury a few years back as a demo bike. I
quickly decided it was sadly too small for me and would like to pass it on.
It has fewer than 100 miles on it and shows as such. These were made in
Japan.

Hello Riv folks,
I recently purchased a Wilbury (build in progress, pics to come), but
unfortunately I need tubeless wheels out here in the desert. Sad because
this wheelset is really nice and you know it’ll last forever as Rich built
it. I digress.
These came off a demo bike so wheels have ve
Interesting, Joe. Looks like most All-rounders did not use the “custom”
head tube lugs, but at least a few did.
Wasn’t the Frank Jones Sr advertised as the only production bike to use
those? How often did this happen? How would one tell an all-rounder apart
from a custom?

I really thought I was the only Riv riding Biggie fan. I don't have

Hello,
I finally settled in on the medium Acorn saddle bag for the SimpleOne.

I was afraid that the 13 tooth range on the 40/32 & 16/19 would not

On my Simpleone I have a dos 16/19 on the freewheel side and a 17/19
surly dingle cog on the fixed side. In front I have 44/48 rings on
the front. I use the 48/16 when I commute and ride down to Rivendell
and change gears to 44/19 when I go back home which is mostly

As far as a comparison - I'm probably not the best one to give a very
detailed opinion. I like both bikes and really just wished I had more
time to ride.
I've ridden the SO the most and have it dialed in for comfort. I
really can't explain it but the bike just feels right.

Snapped a couple of pics on a trip to RBW today. The 40 mile round
trip is a great weekend ride on the SimpleOne. The next time out I'll
try the ride fixed.

Great build.
Your Rodeo is simply gorgeous too. It must be fun deciding which bike
to take out for the day.

PW - Thanks for the nice words and your bike looks great too.
This is my primary bike that I use to commute with and run errands
around town. I've always like Cyclofiend's selection of bikes and was
very close to pulling the trigger on an AHH earlier this year.
Instead I went with an Ebisu A/R th

Thanks. I was the lucky one that was able to grab it when it came up
on the frame specials page. It's been over a year now that I've been

So I jumped at buying the frame instantly.

Got this for my Birthday from my kids and sad to see it go. I sold
the bike that this was mounted on when the SimpleOne Prototype came

Mounted once and never used. It's been sitting in the closet waiting
for a good home. The kids understand that I have to let it go.

I picked up the 58 this morning and they have the Quickbeam dropouts.
Now I have to decide which components to use for the build.

Just found out that my wife tried to pick it up for me for my birthday
last week. I got a weekend travel bag instead.
She knows my quest for a 58cm Quickbeam well.
