I haven't tried Cima Coppi or other cycling-specific wool gear, but I used to really like wool shirts and underwear in the summer in Omaha. Horrible humidity amplified by the corn sweat. And when I moved to STL, I've continued to love it. I mean, it's gross here, and if I'm outside, I am going

Wow!!! I had a T 400, great bike I also was hit by a car. Neither of us faired well. It is hard to twist an aluminum frame but getting run over by a truck will do it. I gave it to a college kid it crabwalked sideways down the road 😉 From: rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Bil

Hello, I'm a wool obsessive right here. During peak summer in Virginia it can get downright nasty with high temps and high humidity. I wear wool all year when I ride. Always wool socks, even the thicker DeFeet Woolie Boolies when it's as miserable as it gets. I like the padding and the socks n

Hey Bill (or anyone with an informed opinion), Can cloth tape wrapped over padded tape still be shellacked? I'm going to be wrapping a Chocomoose forward of the brake levers, and a bit more girth and some cush would be nice but I do want to shellac to match a honey Brooks... Thanks, Doug Going t

It depends how you use them. If you spend 90% of the time upright with the hands near the back (which is why Russ probably like those mtn brakes) then you would want a longer stem. I would argue you probable want different bars too because there are a ton of great upright bars for that position.
