Maybe someone with a Quickbeam can chime in with their experience. Looking at
them stem with albatross bars, you actually might find that it’s rides pretty
good with a bag on the bars compared to the basket. In my limited experience of
bikes with bags and baskets, they all handle a little differ

out with 2.25 Thunderburts and have zero overlap. I also wanted to comment
on bar swapping. I started with Albatross bars with bar ends. Didn't feel
like I had enough hand positions. Moved to Billie's which were excellent.

Resurrecting an old thread, as I'm lazily pondering an Appaloosa with a
ChocoMoose set-up (if I can find one). How's the toe overlap on this with
~50 mm tire? 42 mm tire? Folks who are ~6' tall, what size frame are you
riding? Drop-bar or BullMoose or ChocoMoose?

What kind of bars do you have? I personally don’t like the Fabio’s chest or
similar style saddle bags on drop bars because even on 48mm Noodle bars I lost
the flat grip area. My fingers ended up half in the bag. I think that type of
bag works better on upright bars but I prefer a basket/rack/bag

Where are the cracks formed? My guess it is in the webbing between the
crank arm and the chainring mounting arm? Is it possible to file the crack
out to avoid it spreading?
