OK, so I tried them on OVER another pair of undies to gauge fit and size L
won out.
So this M is for sale. I get why Riv doesn't take em back, but I thought I
might pass em on to someone at a discount.

Also seen at RBWHQ was a Choco handlebar and stem. The complete Appaloosa is
pictured with a Choco Bullmoose handlebar. The silver prototype there had a
similar shaped bar, but it wax a separate bar and stem combo. The stem was
cromo and had a Nitto engraved logo, resembling the silver Ritchey s
The axle is probably brinnelled, and the cartridge bearing is bouncing on
it. I've rebuilt my Raceface Atlas pedals once for the same reason.

Unfortunately, I've found no knobby tires in 650b sizes skinnier than 42
mm. My Riv Road 650b conversion is also limited to 650 x 38. I wish some
of the great 700 x 38 cross/gravel tires would be made in 650 x 38.

Have you ever taken them apart and added a liberal amount of grease ?
Pretty much any pedal these days comes with very very little if any grease.
I've had such sounds as yours with Wellgo pedals and the grease solved it,
it was not the bearing or bushing at all, they are very durable.
The link to flicker worked for me. I have the ap.

Since I can't fit a 41mm under my front fender with Tektro sidepulls, I may be

Has anyone repaired/rehabed a thin gripster pedal?
I love my thin gripster pedals, except one of them has developed an
annoying clicking sound. It did that earlier and I was able to snug up the
nut and (temporarily) solve the problem. The maddening click is back and
it appears that a more maj
I just held the frame in my hands. I can't say anything about clearance for
60s. I will say that I'll certainly never run 60s, and that I'm not worried
about clearance. So I'm probably no help

Bill, Did you happen to get a feel for tire clearance, beyond what is
obliquely visible from the latest photos? It looks like the 55 Big Ben
fits ok, but might not provide room for fenders. Or would it? Is the rear
triangle more gracious than the new fork crown? Do you think there's any

Looks like a great bike, just a hair too big for me as well. (The double-TT

I'm hoping to hold out for a 48 Hunq myself. Will still be awhile longer to

Are the pics I attached showing up? I can attach some others. I don't have

Speaking of *Spectrum*, here's a relic from a bygone era.
Hard to imagine the Loretto-Hilton hosting a band like the MC5 today.
