and they are super wide with tons of clearance even with 42mm 650b
tires. It's easier to get the fender lines right on a 650b with 700c
plastic fenders than 26".

What dad doesn't want to go on a bike ride with his kid? Maybe try borrowing
a bike and going on a pedal adventure or 2 with dad. Then judge if he's into
it enough to justify the expense of buying a bike.

How do they size their fenders? Does the model # correspond at all to the
width? The ones I have are ~47mm edge to edge (straight across, not
following the bend). Would those be the P45 fenders? Also, any problems
getting fenderline to match up using them on a 650b bike? This is for a
CdlV tir
The Saluki is one special bike. There's a reason you don't see them
cropping up on the used market. It is a very good deal, but not the deal of
the century, so don't feel guilty about it. Hope it works out and that your
father is able to put many miles on it!

hmmm, for my body shape the Ibex jerseys fit the best of all wool jerseys
I've tried. They run trim in the waist area so if you're a little *Large* in
that area then I'd look elsewhere. I think they fit the most like
conventional (synthetic) jerseys of all I've tried.

+1 for the SimpleOne. It is a beautiful handling bike on and off road. I
just took mine on a nice trail ride on the foothills of Mt Diablo yesterday.
The bike was amazing off road and very, very comfortable. With the white
Industries 22T freewheel it was a dream off road and the Moustache bars
i second the velocity dyads. i built a wheelset on them just about a
year ago and they're bomb-proof. plus they have a real nice deep-v
that makes em ultra stiff and clean looking.
