It's not about the length of the ride, but the depth of the
adventure. Taking young children on this trip is fantastic. They
must have had a blast & that's what it's all about. Congrats on
getting the weather to cooperate! Now when they want to start picking

Talk about perfect timing.
It's been the arctic wasteland summer in El Cerrito, and near the SF
bay in general. I wake up in the hils and it's low 50s and shrouded
in fog. I'd been halfway dreading the conditions for my late-August
S24O on Angel Island in the middle of the bay.
Turns out today

I'm way to big and heavy for that frame, but it looked like my ideal
offroad bike frame. A happy crossbreeding of my two favorite bikes: my
Quickbeam, and my Bontrager Privateer. I ride them both in the same
woods, and in some situations the fixed Quickbeam has more control
than the geared Bontrage
I loved the way it looked and it was my size but I learned from my time owning
a Rawland Olaf that singlespeed, rigid mountain bikes weren't my thing...my
650b Quickbeam set up as an all'rounder suits me better. If I hadn't gotten
the QB though, I'dve been sorely tempted.

4 years
with no loss of elastic edging or poke through at rivets of standard B17.
I like it but RandiJo's look good.
