I'm way to big and heavy for that frame, but it looked like my ideal offroad bike frame. A happy crossbreeding of my two favorite bikes: my Quickbeam, and my Bontrager Privateer. I ride them both in the same woods, and in some situations the fixed Quickbeam has more control than the geared Bontrager.
If I were to ever get a custom Rivendell, it would be similar to the revised Renovelo version, with flared drop bars. I prefer two brakes for symmetry, but using the rear in the dirt feels weird.
