i live in chicago, and own a sam hill as well. i live in a flat part

Sorry for cross posting -- wait, actually I'm not because I have a good

Anyway: I rode it 21 miles today, rolling and one big, long (for me, 1 1/4

Thanks for all the comment and advice. I've decided to go with the Tara
lowriders and have a local builder braze on eyelets where needed; $25 plus
rattlecan touchup; can't beat that. May have Tubus's clamps for sale.

Hey Monica -
I think I may be interested in that seat post. Let me do a little
more measuring etc and I will let you know. (Of course if you sell it
in the meantime - my loss!) I just got a "new" all rounder and I
think it is a touch small for me. This may be just the ticket. I

Hello
Now its time to go west again!
This time I´m on my way to visit Seattle and Portland in the third week of
September. Do anyone have any ideas, advise etc on what to do and see in the
area and where to stay in a inexpensive B&B / Youth Hostel. I believe the best
way to explore the city

to me, I think the BeesKnees is the Nitto Campee front rack with low
riders. It attaches to the canti mounts and the fork eyelet. and you
can take off the the low rider mounts when you are just carring a
front bag. I'm about ready to order one for a July s24o I've got
planned. Sounds much easier
I may get a local builder to do this, and just put a black stripe around the
work. We'll see. May be cheaper than the Tubus clamp. But I think Ortliebs
for the front.

TS3: Good flick; I cried at the end!
Only other animated movie to do that was The Iron Giant... "Superman".

The "mid-fork" braze-ons on Rivs are designed for mini front racks,
not low riders, so I doubt you will find any low riders that will fit
the braze-ons on a Sam (but let us know if you do). The other option
is to use hose clamps (which require a one-piece low rider rack) (or
add braze-ons as mentio
I just got some 35-622 Paselas and put them on my Fisher Sphinx
monster cross, hoping they would be wider than the Jack Browns on my

a bit. Measuring the width at several points, however, I noticed that
the measurement varied as
