to me, I think the BeesKnees is the Nitto Campee front rack with low
riders. It attaches to the canti mounts and the fork eyelet. and you
can take off the the low rider mounts when you are just carring a
front bag.   I'm about ready to order one for a July s24o I've got
planned. Sounds much easier than adding braze ons and trying to match
paint. and they are a piece of art in themsleves too.
