I've got a Vagrant setup (I dislike Docker on OS X) that I'm nearly
ready to push to github as well. Will post here once done.

We have (finally) started testing our packages with r-revel on Digital
Ocean virtual machines.
To automate the initial setup, we have started creating Makefiles to help
get a clean VM set up with all of the libraries and packages needed to
build and check our own packages with R-devel.
