Vpopmail 5.3.27 - works great - with mysql, relay auth via open-smtp file.

My setup with qmail scanner includes spam assassin, clamav, qmail, vpopmail,
mysql. Its all good, but most spam I get is misaddressed. I used to bounce
misaddressed email, but the unbouncable nature of spam got me to having
*huge* qmail queue's waiting to go out, and so I started just acc
server to
non-addresses. I'd like to reject the message at the SMTP level, and save
the bandwidth, save the SpamAssassin scanning, save the Clamscanning, etc.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I'm using:
Qmail with lots of patches
Vpopmail
QmailScanner
Clamscan
Spamassassin

Commands I use
upp patch seems to say that mysql vpopmail
installs need different info to be able to do this, but that patch didn't
work for me and I'm not clear as to whether I *must* use it or not. I'm
getting 86% spam through this server, and 90% of the spam is misaddressed.
