Ok. Item number one resolved. DNS server wasn't working.
The big one is left. I need to get those 2500 msgs going.
Again, here is what I did (probably shoudn't have...):
1. qmailctl stat (showed 2500+ messages)
2. stopped qmail
3. mv /var/qmail/queue/remote /var/qmail/queue/remote-hold
4. started

I have 2500+ messages in the queue of my mail relay system. Stopped
delivering 2 days ago.
I'm taking over support of this box from someone who left. Not too
familiar with qmail yet.
Two questions:
1. How can I find out where mail is supposed to go after it gets here?
I looked in /var/qmail
