[Qmail-scanner-general]Easy installation of Kaspersky on FreeBSD?

2002-08-03 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I'm just trying to install Kasperky with qmail-scanner, but I'm facing a strange situation (of FreeBSD). Where is the daemon client? It looks like I have to compile it by myself. Possible? Anyone using Kaspersky on FreeBSD? And anyone using two different antivirus (in the same time)? Thanks

[Qmail-scanner-general]2 requests for new version

2002-07-17 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I have two requests: 1a) would it be possible to add an option like --refuse-on-virus that should cheange Q-S behaviour? In case of virus, Q-S should simply delete all temporary files, emit a "553 sorry, your message contains "blabla" virus and has been rejected", then exit. This would

[Qmail-scanner-general]nod32 update & daemon version

2002-06-03 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I've updated sub-nod32.pl, and I feel it now completely ok. More, I've started using the daemon version, that's extremely fast and more easy to implement. The files here attached are relative to both versions, and must be used in the following way: 1) sub-nod32.pl : is the standard, stand alo

[Qmail-scanner-general]Question on .txt or raw e-mail scanning

2002-05-23 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I'm trying to improve the patch I did for implementing nod32, so I'm asking myself what's the utility to scan the raw e-mail message and .txt attachments. My question derives: 1) from the effective danger coming from embedded html and external text; 2) from the fact that, wanting to analize ra

[Qmail-scanner-general]nod32 integrated with qmail-scanner

2002-05-20 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I've integrated nod32 with qmail-scanner, keeping it working on 'real' traffic for more than one week. Now I submit all the patches (based on qmail-scanner version 1.12), hoping that they'll be integrated in the main release. I find nod32 very cheap and very effective (his reputation is very

[Qmail-scanner-general]Behaviour on virus cleaned attachments

2002-04-23 Thread tonix (Antonio Nati)
I'm going to evaluate some anti-virus products to install in my system together with qmail-scanner, but I have a dumb question for which I didn't find an answer: Using a av-product able to clean attachs, is there a way to use these cleaned attachs? Is qmail-scanner able to substitute these cle
