Hi;
Sorry, I don't really understand what you're trying to explain. I did
notice a daemon client in the contrib directory but there isn't anything
in the way of documentation on how to implement it into qms. And what
is AvpTeamDream? If you perhaps have some more detailed instructions

Thanks for the continued great work Jason.

Is there any way this could be added to the main distribution? I've
just started using kav, and noticed it's high overhead. This would be a
perfect solution.
Thanks Ryan for your work.

Do you have qmail-scanner setup for spamassassin_fast or verbose? If
you want the report, you have to set it up for verbose.

Another really good point here is that setting a softlimit to 128MB kind
of defeats the purpose of having a softlimit in the first place. Set it
back down to a reasonable level and check your log files (as Oliver
suggests) for clues.

My guess would be performance and resources. I personally prefer it
blocking and if it doesn't meet any of the blocking criteria, *then*
spawn the scanner and spamassassin. But that's just me.

Hi List;
I have noticed that I've had a couple instances of the Lentin.F virus getting
through qmail-scanner/fsav.
I did some digging through the log files and found that it seems like reformime
isn't properly putting the attachment back together. The filename ends up .pif

I'm sure lots of people are. I am for sure.

Yup, check the faq and the list archives. It'll more than likely be
your softlimit.

No, it does not work. And please don't reply to me, I'm on the list,
and I don't need multiple copies of the same person yelling.

Well, if the readme says it doesn't work, and the website says it
doesn't work, then chances are, it doesn't work ;)

You do
understand that qmailscanner uses perl, right? Perl comes with RedHat and
frankly without it, you wouldn't be able to use
qmailscanner.

Check
the permissions of /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i386-linux/Time. You probably had
your umask set to 0027 when you did the install, so just change the permissions
of that dir.

I think you have to use verbose_spamassassin as something broke in the
new release of spamassassin.

Qmailscanner doesn't work under perl 5.8.0 yet. See list archives for
details.

Please check the mailing list archives as this has been answered more than I can
count. Please up your softlimit in your smtp run script for tcpserver. Also, does
anyone know if this item is in a FAQ? It seems to get asked weekly almost.
