I would guess that what he's talking about is that SUID is not a default.
For example, with Red Hat Linux 9, I had to install the perl-suidperl rpm
file in order for QS to work. Not a big deal, and certainly not the fault
of QS.

What bug? It sent an email to "<>"? It may not

Is there a way to execute a script within qmail? I'm familiar with the
sendmail/smrsh method, and the .qmail file, but these *replace* delivery. I
want to execute a script *within* qmail upon successful delivery of the email
without otherwise impacting the email delivery.
Can this be done?

Absolutely no problem! In fact, I'd recommend it :-)
I'm surprised that wasn't obvious - but now I think about it, I see that
fact isn't actua

Look at the log file:
SelfCheck: Database modification detected. Forcing reload.
Reading databases from /usr/local/share/clamav
Database correctly reloaded (9643 viruses)
SelfCheck: Database status OK.

Mine is being wierd.. when I check logs there are definately blockages!
Like hundreds of them.. yet some with 0 sizes (that's fine), but also
some with actual sizes slip through.. is it possible the virus has a bug
and isn't reproducing itself correctly?

What can I do about /var/spool/qmailscan?
There seem to be aLOT of directories like:
servername29384792834
I know those are suppost to be working file scans... but some of them go back to
Feburary 7th... why are these stuck here?

I am having an issue with Q-S passing the user qscand to SA. I have read
all docs that I could find on this issue and triple check all configs, I
think.
This is the output from SA. It shows it uses the qscand user all the
time for user-pref lookups.
