Hi Joel,
Unless I'm misunderstanding, the label command, label menu, and the label
wizard all support proteins and nucleic acids. Do you have an example where
that's not the case?

Hi Vaheh,
1. I couldn't reproduce "only one side shows labels", but there was an aspect
ration problem which is fixed in SVN rev 4070.
I can't reproduce 2., maybe it is also already fixed? If not, what are the
steps to reproduce it?
Cheers,
Thomas

Thanks, that works. I missed that option (didn't look far
enough to the right when i hit set label "tab").
And, yes, in build 33, they are on by default (I think).

set label_shadow_mode, 0
If that doesn't work in your build, it will in the next release.

By making your labels in PowerPoint or Photoshop after rendering in PyMOL.
However, thank you for the suggestion -- better labels are a high priority.

Bjorn,
Whoops! That is definitely an oversight -- I'll see what I can do
to correct this. In the meantime, you may need to save a separate session
file for each labeled scene.

Jose,
Thanks to some recent and much appreciated development assistance
from PyMOL user, this is something I hope we can deliver in the next
release...
For now, save your ray-traced images as PNG files and then annotate
manually in PowerPoint, Photoshop, or Keynote. Sorry for th

Hi,
Open the png file in photoshop or illustrator and add them. I don't
think PyMol can add ray traced labels yet.

I label in stereo using Adobe Illustrator.
I place the labels at the same approximate position on the figure (aligning
them vertically) and then I adjust the horizontal position of the label on
the right figure until the label appears at the proper depth for the figure.
