and .pdb are there.
You didn't mention what version of OS X you are using, but the apbs
binary included with MacPyMOL doesn't run on versions prior to 10.8.
It's relatively straightforward to compile APBS from source and
replace the binary in the app bundle. It's at pymol
follows.

memory.
CShaderPrg_Link-Error: Shader program failed to link name='default';
GL_MAX_VARYING_FLOATS=60 log follows.

e shaders are actually loaded. In my local test case, the
PyMOL directory is hosted on NFS and automounted to/from the same location,
so in theory no matter which side is trying the fopen (or whatever), it
should be able to find the file on disk at the same path.

The fix is not entirely clear to me by looking at those sources. It looks
like you'll have to experiment a bit if you want to continue to support
10.5 users.

Thoughts, Jason, et al? :-)

This sounds good, but it doesn't work for me. With the menu bar on the

Yes, we had to use the -S to force stereo mode as well. I have an OS X
10.5.8 machine with a Quadro 4500 that works fine with MacPyMOL and
PyMOLX11Hybrid once stereo mode is forced. It won't turn on the emitter

The other odd thing is that stereo in CCP4mg works fine.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
Thanks.

have debugging symbols, so that may not be of much use.
Any ideas on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Any ideas? I grepped through the PyMOL directories and can see some
references to DISPLAY being set, but haven't read the code closely enough
to see if there is some failing test that is the culprit here.

I believe that my user was using a pure-X11 build
circa 0.97 that was also built by David. That ticket was from February
2005, so this was almost 4 years ago now.
I'll install the 1.2 betas and try them out.
Thanks for your help.

Is this a known issue? Is there a different switch that has to be passed

Thanks.

Python has API version 1012, module multiarray has version 1013.
I poked around in the PyMOLX11Hybrid.app directories, but didn't see an
obvious place I could add a module installation.
Thanks.
