I'd guess that you need to add a "restrict" directive, something
like:
restrict 17.254.0.31 mask 255.255.255.255 nomodify notrap noquery
... except with the IP address changed to match the address of the
server that you're using.

Linux (or Mac OS X, for that matter) will find useful, a simpler
suggestion would be: "Read the killall man page with "man killall",
and if "killall " doesn't work, try "killall -KILL ".
