I've got a GeForce 2 MX, and the default for Nvidia based chipsets, I
think, is the "nv" driver. Please correct me if I'm wrong. As default,
it works fairly well, save for the "no acceleration" which requires the
GLX and kernel downloads from Nvidia. Although somewhat a pain to get
I'd run "redhat-config-packages" from root in a bash shell (terminal),
and then select at the bottom portion of the screen "Development
Packages" I think, if memory serves me correctly. That should install
everything your missing, methinks.

In reading the boot information for my RH8 system, I noticed that the
system defaults to 33MHz. It also says to set it using IDEBUS=XX.
Where do I set it at (I assume in grub.conf, correct?) and what are the
limitations of it (i.e. I've got a 266 MHz system buscan I set it

Need some help setting up Samba. The other PC is a Win XP Pro. The XP
machine sees the Samba server, however, I get a "Network Path not found"
error when I try to access it. Here is the necessary smb.conf file that
would apply (I think) to this problem:
